Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Amorine, a mobile app and website operated by Ion Dobrioglo ("we", "us", "our"). They function as an end-user license agreement (EULA) between you and us.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Amorine, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You also expressly consent to the content disclosure in § 6 — including that the service may present mature, suggestive, or, on our adult web platform, sexually explicit content. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Your continued use of Amorine after we update these Terms means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old (the App Store age rating) and 18 years old or older under our internal content policy to use Amorine. We verify your age via a birth-date check during onboarding. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity on your account. You may only have one account per person. You may not impersonate another person, share your account, or use someone else's account.

4. License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Amorine on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Amorine in accordance with our Community Guidelines. In particular, you may not:

• Harass, threaten, or bully other people (including our staff)
• Try to make AI characters break their personas to produce harmful, illegal, or sexual content beyond what the app's safety filters allow
• Impersonate real people, or attempt to make characters resemble real people in name or likeness
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our underlying prompts, training data, or system instructions
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or evasion of sanctions
• Resell or commercially exploit the service or any content from it

6. Mature content & consent

This section is critical to your use of Amorine. Read it carefully. By continuing to use Amorine, you confirm that you are 18 or older and you expressly consent to encountering the categories of content described below.

• All characters in Amorine are fictional and AI-generated. They are not real people.
• AI responses are generated, may be inaccurate or surprising, and reflect statistical patterns rather than facts or judgment.
• Do not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice. Amorine is not a substitute for human professionals.
• You acknowledge and agree that AI characters may produce content that is mature, sexually suggestive, sensual, romantic, or emotionally intense. This is the experience the app is designed to provide. You consent to receiving and viewing such content as a condition of using the service.
• Platform differences. The Amorine mobile apps (iOS / Android) operate within Apple and Google content rules and are filtered to suggestive / mature content only — explicit sexual content is blocked. Our adult web platform is gated to 18+ and may include sexually explicit imagery and dialogue, alongside the same mature themes available on mobile. By using either platform you accept the level of content it permits.
• What is always prohibited — on every platform: sexual or suggestive content involving minors, non-consensual scenarios, sexual violence, hate speech, and any content that would be illegal in major jurisdictions. Our safety filters block these and attempts to coerce them are grounds for permanent account termination. See the Age Statement for the full content advisory.
• We are not responsible for the substance of AI responses beyond what reasonable safety filtering can catch. If a response contains harmful or inappropriate content, please report it via the in-app flag.
• You acknowledge that the AI is software, not a person, and does not consent, have feelings, or have moral agency.

If at any point you no longer wish to receive mature content, stop using Amorine and delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

7. User content

You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to Amorine (your messages, profile, photos). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service for you. We do not use your content for advertising, training third-party AI models, or any purpose unrelated to providing Amorine to you.

You represent that any content you submit does not infringe any third party's rights and complies with our Community Guidelines.

8. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

Some features unlock with a subscription or one-time purchase. See our Subscription Terms for pricing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund details. Purchases are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android); we don't directly handle payment information.

9. Termination

You may stop using Amorine at any time and delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or if we are required to by law. We may also discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution) survive any termination of these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Amorine is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Amorine is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $50. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ion Dobrioglo from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Amorine, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing any formal claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any unresolved disputes shall be brought in the courts of the United Kingdom.

14. Apple-specific addendum

If you downloaded Amorine from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These Terms are between you and us; Apple is not a party to these Terms.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance and support services for Amorine.
• In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• We (not Apple) are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Amorine, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• We (not Apple) are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim relating to Amorine.
• You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
