Age Statement

App Store rating: 17+

The Apple App Store rates Amorine 17+ under their content rating system. This is Apple's maximum age rating for apps available in the App Store.

Our content policy: 18+

Amorine's own content policy requires users to be 18 years of age or older. We verify your age via a birth-date check during onboarding. Users who indicate they are under 18 are not allowed to create an account.

Why the difference?

Apple's age rating system caps at 17+. Because Amorine is an AI companion app and conversations can drift into mature territory, our internal policy adds an additional year so every user is a legal adult in nearly every jurisdiction. Content advisory

Amorine is a fictional AI dating sim. By creating an account, you expressly consent to encountering the categories of content listed below. If you don't consent, don't use the service.

By design, conversations and AI-generated images can include:

• Suggestive or sensual themes — flirting, romantic tension, mature situations between adult characters
• Stylized partial nudity in character art (e.g. lingerie, swimwear, dance/performance attire)
• Mature language including occasional profanity, double entendre, and adult humor
• Emotional intensity — jealousy, heartbreak, conflict, vulnerability

Platform differences

Where Amorine is available shapes how much of the above you'll see:

• Mobile apps (iOS / Android) — operate under Apple and Google's content rules. Content is filtered to suggestive / mature only; explicit sexual content is blocked at both the input and output layers. The App Store rates this version 17+, and our internal age gate is 18+.
• Adult web platform — strictly 18+, age-gated at sign-up. May include sexually explicit imagery and dialogue in addition to the mature themes available on mobile. By using the web platform, you confirm that adult content is legal where you are and that you wish to access it.

Always prohibited

Across every platform, the following is hard-blocked and grounds for immediate, permanent account termination (and reporting to authorities where required by law):

• Sexual or suggestive content involving minors
• Non-consensual scenarios or sexual violence
• Hate speech or content targeting protected classes
• Content that would be illegal in major jurisdictions (e.g. CSAM, deepfake-style sexual impersonation of real people)

Why 18+

Even with safety filtering, AI is imperfect. The 18+ requirement exists because:

• We can't guarantee every reply or image meets your personal comfort level
• Mature themes — even when filtered to "suggestive" rather than "explicit" — are not appropriate for minors
• The adult web platform contains explicit content that is legally restricted to adults in nearly every jurisdiction
• Romantic AI companionship can be emotionally intense; we want users who can engage with it as adults

Controls and reporting

If you encounter something that crosses a line, flag it in-app (tap the report icon on any message or image). We review reports and adjust filters and character behavior accordingly. You can also block any character to remove them from your discover feed and chat list permanently. If you no longer wish to receive mature content, stop using Amorine and delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

If this isn't the experience you're looking for, Amorine isn't the right app for you.

If your minor child has accessed Amorine, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance with account deletion and data removal. We take requests from parents of minors seriously and prioritize them in our queue.

Verification process

We currently verify age through self-reported birth date during onboarding. We may strengthen this in the future (e.g., document verification for high-risk jurisdictions). If we do, we will update this page and notify users in-app before any change takes effect.
